Privacy Policy

Effective October 1, 2026

This policy explains what information Altriq LLC (“Altriq,” “we”) collects through the Altriq website and service, how we use it, and the choices you have. Altriq is used by businesses (“customers”) to answer calls, chat with website visitors, and run their jobs. When someone calls or chats with one of those businesses, we process that information on the business's behalf.

Information we collect

  • Account information — names, email addresses, phone numbers, business details, and sign-in data for the people who use Altriq.
  • Calls to a business's Altriq number — the caller's phone number, call audio recordings, transcripts, summaries, and the details the caller provides (such as name, address, and the job they need).
  • Website chat — the answers a visitor types into a business's chat widget.
  • Business records — clients, notes, quotes, invoices, expenses, receipts, schedules, and timesheets a business stores in Altriq.
  • Payments — subscription billing and invoice payments are processed by our payment processor. We receive payment status and limited details (such as the payment method type), not full card or bank account numbers.
  • Calendar data — if a business connects Google Calendar or links a calendar, we read availability to avoid double-booking and, for Google Calendar, create and remove events for bookings.
  • Accounting data — if a business connects QuickBooks Online, we keep the access it grants and the name of the company it connected, and read the list of its accounts so it can choose where expenses are recorded.
  • Technical data — standard logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to run and secure the service.

How we use information

  • To answer calls and chats, qualify leads, and book appointments for the business being contacted.
  • To provide the CRM features a business uses, including notifications, invoices, and payments.
  • To bill customers, provide support, and communicate about the service.
  • To secure the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use callers' or visitors' information for advertising.

Calls are answered by AI and may be recorded

Every call answered by Altriq begins by telling the caller they are speaking with an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded. Website chats state that the visitor is chatting with an AI assistant. Businesses can choose to delete call recordings and full transcripts automatically after 30 days, 90 days, or one year.

Google user data

Altriq's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Calendar data is used only to check availability and to create, update, or remove the bookings a business makes through Altriq. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and not used to train AI models. A business can disconnect Google Calendar at any time, which stops our access.

QuickBooks Online

A business on a plan that includes it can connect its own QuickBooks Online company. Altriq then sends that company the records the business creates in Altriq from that day on: its customers (name, email, phone, and billing address), invoices and their line items, payments received against them, and expenses. The sync runs one way — we don't copy the business's QuickBooks records into Altriq — and we only change records Altriq itself created there.

The access a business grants is stored securely and used for nothing but this sync. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to train AI models. A business can disconnect at any time from its Altriq settings or from within QuickBooks, which ends our access; whatever was already sent stays in its QuickBooks company, which it controls.

Who we share information with

We share information with the business a caller or visitor contacted, and with service providers that help us run Altriq, under contracts that limit how they can use it:

  • Cloud database and storage providers — Storing account data and files, and signing people in
  • Hosting providers — Running the website and application
  • Voice and telephony providers — Answering phone calls, recordings, and transcripts
  • Payment processors — Subscription billing and invoice payments
  • Email delivery providers — Sending quotes, invoices, and notification emails
  • AI service providers — Suggesting qualification questions from a business's website
  • Google — Sign-in with Google and optional Google Calendar sync
  • Intuit — Optional QuickBooks Online sync, when a business connects it

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of others.

How long we keep information

We keep account and business records while an account is active. Call recordings and transcripts are kept according to each business's retention setting. When an account is closed, we delete or de-identify its data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it for legal, tax, or security reasons.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls that separate each business's data, and restricted access for our own staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information entrusted to us.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information. If you called or chatted with a business that uses Altriq, contact that business first — they control those records — or email us and we'll help route your request. Account holders can update most information in their settings.

Children

Altriq is a business service and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If changes are significant, we'll notify account holders before they take effect.
